The Ministry of Health advocates an increase in fines for infringement of quarantine
The ministry proposes to increase the amount of the fine for violation of the quarantine from 170 hryvnia to 17 thousand hryvnia.
The Ministry of Health is in favor of increasing the size of the fine for violating quarantine requirements. The corresponding bill is in parliament, but deputies have not yet considered it. This was announced to Radio Liberty by the chief medical officer Viktor Lyashko.
According to Lyashko, it is necessary that the violation of anti-epidemic standards be sanctioned immediately, because this affects the incidence of the coronavirus in the country. “We may not be able to realize it, but the police, the State Consumer Service and the local authorities are working. Whether it is enough or not, this is again an evaluation,” he said.
As Lyashko pointed out, in Ukraine the amount of the fine for violation of quarantine is not the same as in the European region. He added that the ministry proposes to increase the amount of the fine from 170 hryvnia to 17 thousand hryvnia.
We have 170 hryvnias. We want to go up. For example, today the president of France, speaking, said that they have 170 euros, if it is a repeated violation it will be 1700 euros. The bill is in the Rada. He did not have time or did not want to vote before her. get out “, – explained the health doctor.
As reported, for violation of the curfew in France, a fine of 135 euros will be imposed. A repeated violation will result in a fine of 1,5 thousand euros.
We will recall, in the Czech Republic from October 5, that an emergency regime is in force. The offense is punishable by a fine of up to 10,000 crowns (about $ 435).
