Quarantine in Ukraine: residents of Kharkov, Ivano-Frankivsk and Cherkasy came out to protest

The weekend quarantine begins tomorrow in Ukraine. For the third day, two cities protest against this restriction.

It is reported in the “Objective” edition.

People came out to protest with posters of “No weekend quarantine”, “I have the right to work”, “We already closed 40%”. The protesters came under the building of the regional state administration.

According to the protesters, there is no compensation from the authorities. Therefore, some are already laying off staff.

In addition, they protest against the strengthening of the quarantine at the weekend and in Cherkasy. This was reported by the “Cherkasy Media Center”. People came out under the walls of the town hall.

Today there are about 200 of them. On their posters: “Do not confuse the hetmans! Small companies with large networks”, “The right to work”, “We demand the prevention of selective closure of companies by quarantine” and the like.

Also in Ivano-Frankivsk the restorers protested. This is reported by the publication “Galitsky Correspondent”. They picketed the regional police department, protesting the imposition of the weekend quarantine. Several dozen protesters expressed outrage that they were forced to close, but did not compensate for rent and other expenses.

They also demand from the police that law enforcement officers do not fine the institutions they operate.

As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine named the condition for the introduction of a total blockade in the country.

Please note that as of November 14, a weekend quarantine is introduced in Ukraine.
