Reports from the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

He said that now the authorities of the regions have the authority to control the situation with the spread of the coronavirus.

“The local authorities asked that they be given more powers. They now have sufficient powers to effectively contain the spread of the coronavirus. I ask that you take the initiative into your own hands and put things in order. This is our common responsibility,” Shmygal emphasized .

We will remember, from Monday Kiev will be in the “orange zone” of quarantine. Sumy was transferred from the “orange zone” to the “red one”. This provides for the strengthening of restrictive measures in cities.

The Kharkiv region ranks second among the regions in terms of the number of coronavirus cases – 23,242 cases over the entire period of the pandemic. More only in Kiev.

Also today, the Cabinet of Ministers made a series of important decisions to counter the coronavirus. In particular, the government has allocated additional funds for testing.
