They plan to weaken the quarantine from May 15
The weakening of quarantine in the Lviv region was postponed due to an increase in new cases of coronavirus infection. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the Lviv Regional State Administration.
So, at today’s meeting of the regional commission on environmental safety and emergency situations, it was decided to extend the quarantine without help until May 15.
“Then, those concessions that were planned for May 11 will be introduced as of May 15,” said Taras Gren, vice president of the Regional State Administration.
The Regional State Administration noted that during the last day in the region 54 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed, 13 patients were hospitalized. In total, 753 coronavirus patients were registered in the region, while 20 people became victims of the disease.
Recall, it was previously reported that during the last day in Ukraine more than 520 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered. The total number of infected Ukrainians exceeded 15 thousand. The greatest number of new cases was registered in the Chernivtsi, Lviv and Rivne regions.
Furthermore, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the state’s chief medical doctor, Viktor Lyashko, published recommendations for the business to function after the relaxation of the quarantine in Ukraine. In particular, it is necessary to adhere to the mask regime and social distance.
