Starting Tuesday, May 12, Kiev begins to introduce the first stage of easing quarantine measures, but a series of prohibitions and restrictions against the epidemic continue to apply. This was reported by the press service of the Kiev City State Administration (KSCA),
So, it remains closed:
- schools, kindergartens, vocational education institutions (vocational and technical), higher education institutions;
- theaters, cinemas, museums (except open-air museums), library reading rooms, and the like. Museums, like other cultural institutions, can restore work with restrictions, but without visitors. At the same time, these institutions must temporarily remove people subject to self-isolation from work (particularly those over 60 years of age);
- entertainment centers and entertainment areas;
- entertainment facilities (discotheques, nightclubs, computer clubs, search rooms, etc.);
- sports complexes, swimming pools, gyms;
- public service institutions for the population (bathrooms, SPA rooms, massage rooms, rooms for parents, etc.);
- markets (except agri-food), agricultural fairs;
- shopping and entertainment centers and non-food stores with an area of more than 300 m2.
Catering, fast food, restaurants, cafes, bars, including service stations, are also closed to visitors. However, summer places for cafes and restaurants are allowed to work, provided the anti-epidemic requirements are met. It also allowed the preparation of food and / or tea, coffee drinks and their sale in stationary and mobile closed-type MAFs by courier delivery and take-away sales.
It is prohibited to sell alcoholic beverages, including low alcohol, in bottled stores, Mafs.
The ban on visiting coastal areas, the celebration of mass services and tourist events also continue to apply. Leave enclosed patios and sports grounds.
In addition, the most limited remains:
- hotel, hostel, bathroom work;
- reviews of housing facilities (including non-residential premises in residential buildings);
- carry out planned hospitalizations and planned operations in health facilities;
- public transport, which in the first stage will continue to operate in a limited way on special tickets. Private companies must solve the problem of transporting their workers to work.
The prohibition of regular and irregular transportation of passengers in motor vehicles in suburban, intercity, intraregional and interregional traffic will also continue to apply.
It should be noted that work on the metro will resume in accordance with the government’s decision.
In addition, the department noted that the mask regime remains mandatory.
We will remember, before, the mayor of Kiev, Vitaliy Klitschko, said that the work of the shopping centers could be resumed in the second stage of the quarantine mitigation. However, he added that the mall’s work will be restored, most likely, when restrictions on the operation of public ground transportation are removed.
In addition, since May 9 in Kiev, 19 food markets can start their work.
