The French government has decided to impose a curfew across the country. It will go into effect on Tuesday, December 15.

This was stated by French Prime Minister Jean Casteks, reports Le Figaro.

The curfew will be in effect from 20:00 to 6:00. Compliance with restrictions will be closely monitored. In case of infringement, a fine of 135 euros is imposed.

There will also be exceptions for curfews. In particular, the prohibition can be ignored by professional reasons, pressing family circumstances, for medical reasons and in the case of walking with animals.

At the same time, it is noted that on Christmas, December 24, the curfew will be canceled. However, on December 31 the restriction will take effect.

In addition, as of December 15, interregional travel will be allowed in France, which was previously prohibited.

At the same time, the prime minister noted that at least until January 7, mmuseums, theaters and cinemas, and the inauguration Cafes, bars, restaurants and gyms will not take place before January 20.

We will recall that the former French president, Emmanuel Macron, announced three stages of quarantine mitigation, which are scheduled for December-January.

Furthermore, the French government is working on a strategy that will guide the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will operate in the country until an effective vaccine is applied.
