The Territorial Elections Commission of the city of Lviv has scheduled a second vote for November 22 and announced the names of two candidates who will continue to fight for the position of mayor:
Andrey Sadovy (“Samopomich”) – current mayor
Oleg Sinyutka (“European Solidarity”) – Popular Deputy, former head of the LOGA
Despite the leadership of Andrey Sadovy, the result of 40.9% in the first round was not enough for him to be chosen for the next cadence.
With a 10% lag, Oleg Sinyutka ranked second, receiving 31.1% of voter support.

According to the rating of the SOCIS Center (from October 29 to November 10), the outcome of the second round of elections in Lviv will largely depend on turnout. Both candidates have almost an equal chance of becoming the next mayor.

In the latest survey, 40.5% of all respondents (2000 people) want to see Andrey Sadovyi as mayor of Lviv in the future. Oleg Sinyutka is ready to bear 35.2%.
- Andrey Sadovy – 40.5%
- Oleg Sinyutka – 35.2%
- Undecided / refused to answer – 14.2%
- Will not vote – 5.8%
- None of the candidates – 4.5%
Model the results of the second round of elections among those who will definitely vote and have already decided the election (992 respondents), showed the leadership of the European Solidarity candidate:
- Oleg Sinyutka – 50.9%
- Andrey Sadovy – 49.1%
If on November 22 those who will definitely vote and those who are most likely to participate in mayoral elections and have chosen, the result may be in favor of Sadovy, but with a minimal margin:
- Andrey Sadovy – 50.2%
- Oleg Sinyutka – 49.8%
At the same time, the majority of respondents who voted for Ruslan Koshulinsky (“Svoboda”), Yaroslav Ruschishin (“Golos”), Igor Kuzmak (“People’s Movement of Ukraine”) and Igor Vasyunik are ready to support Oleg Sinyutka in the second round.

The voters of Taras Klyofa (“Servant of the People”) and Yulia Gvozdovich (“Ukrainian Galician Party”) will vote for Andrey Sadovy.
Before the elections, Andrei Sadovy was surely in first place in opinion polls: 38.1%. Ruslan Koshulinsky ranked second with 17.9% and Oleg Sinyutka received the support of 13.8% of those surveyed.
According to the forecast of the second round in Lviv of the Qualification Group (July 2020) in the pair of candidates “Oleg Sinyutka – Andriy Sadovy”, the mayor’s advantage was 20%.

How was the first round of voting?
17 candidates ran for mayor of Lviv. According to the results of the October 25 vote, none of them received the support of the absolute majority of voters.
The highest result was with the mayor of the city Andrey Sadovoy, as well as with the people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation of the “European Solidarity” Oleg Sinyutka. The rest of the candidates received less than 10% of the support of the voters.

- Igor Kuzmak (“People’s Movement of Ukraine”) – 0.95%
Recall that the second round of the November 22 elections will take place in various regional centers, in particular, the voting for mayoral candidates will take place in Dnipro, Poltava, Rovno, Uzhgorod, Cherkassy, Nikolaev, as well as in several large cities.
