Komkov said that the acceptance of applications for nominations begins in September and ends in October. Meanwhile, the Kremlin press service said that they did not nominate Russian President Vladimir Putin for the Nobel Peace Prize. However, if a decision is made, it will be “fine,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
The Peace Prize is one of five bequests at the end of the 19th century by the Swedish industrialist and inventor Alfred Nobel. Awarded to a person or organization for outstanding contributions to peace.
