Well-known Russian presenter and now blogger Ksenia Sobchak interviewed former head of the President’s Office Andrei Bogdan. And all would be fine if the authors of the video version did not make a shameful mistake: they mistook the Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov for his namesake and Russian namesake. And they put a photo of the latter. Note that Yuri Nikolaevich Butusov is a theater director.
Sobchak’s interview with Bogdan: details of the shame with Butusov
Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov himself noted the shame with himself. The corresponding message appeared on his Facebook page.
On the subject, Bogdan said that his grandfather was “beaten by Muscovites” and called Bandera a hero.
This happened when the TV presenter and the former head of the OPU began to discuss the issue of the removal of the head of the Constitutional Court Stanislav Shevchuk and the appointment of Alexander Tupitsky in his place. Sobchak noted that he had read on Butusov’s website that Bogdan allegedly communicated about this with the president of the Kiev District Administrative Court, Pavel Volk.
In the end, Bogdan did not refute the fact of the conversation with Vovk and the discussion. But he noted that if he was talking about Tupitsky, he was talking only in a negative context.
And at this time, the authors of the video version confused the Butusovs: instead of a Ukrainian journalist, they put a photo of a theater director. At the same time, they signed that he was the editor-in-chief of the Censor.Net website.
Well, I understand, you may not know me, because “Censor.Net” in Russia has been completely blocked by all providers since 2014, but the director is perhaps the most famous in the Russian Federation, you can’t get confused like that,
– stressed the Ukrainian journalist Butusov.
