FOP picket in the Rada
Small businesses are demanding the lifting of the ban on their activities during the enhanced quarantine.
In the government district of Kiev, since the morning of Tuesday December 15, a protest action has been carried out by representatives of small businesses. Due to the protests, traffic was closed on Hrushevsky and Shelkovichnaya streets. Protesters try to block the entrances to the government building.
Several thousand people with flags picket the Verkhovna Rada and move in column through the government quarter.
The participants in the action demand that the Rada consider and adopt the bills on simplified taxation for private entrepreneurs. They also protest against the ban on business activity with the introduction of strict quarantine restrictions from January 8 to 24, 2021.
Security officers are on duty under the walls of parliament.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers announced the introduction of an improved quarantine from January 8 to 24, during which a series of restrictions will be introduced.
As reported, businessmen protested in Zhytomyr yesterday over the quarantine.
