Today in Minsk and other cities of Belarus will take place the “March of Heroes”, a new Sunday march of the opposition.
Many important events occurred the day before. The main one is the arrest of Maria Kolesnikova, who was the main face of the protest.
Apparently, Kolesnikova was trying to expel Ukraine by force, but tore her passport at the border. After that, a case was brought against her for an attempt to overthrow the legitimate government. Therefore, today she will not hit the streets of Minsk for the first time.
This can give stocks an extra boost. Not surprisingly, they were named after the arrested opponents.
The second important point is that tomorrow Alexander Lukashenko will go to Sochi to meet with Vladimir Putin. This will be another sign of Father’s support from Moscow. I wonder how Belomaidan will react to him. And with what Lukashenka will go to Russia, in the wake of escalating protests, or with a generally controlled protest behind him.
Third, today the opposition will go to the house where the president lives for the first time. This was not practiced before. So in Ukraine, on the eve of the Maidan, activists went to Yanukovych’s house in Mezhyhirya.
