In the Belarusian capital Minsk, students participated in a demonstration to support those detained on September 4 by a student from the Minsk State Linguistic University. Militiamen arrested more than 10 protesters on Karl Marx Street today.

A group of students from the Belarusian National Technical University met today. The youths planned to line up in a chain toward Yakub Kolas Plaza. The rally did not have time to start, when two minibuses stopped on the sidewalk, people in civilian clothes stopped two guys.
After that, law enforcement officers began to arrest the protesters in Karl Marx.
Let us remind you that, according to the Belarusian Ministry of the Interior, 41 people were arrested yesterday across the country.
Furthermore, on September 4, at least five students were arrested in Minsk.
We add that 26 protesters were arrested in the protests in Belarus on September 3. In total, according to the local Interior Ministry, 30 actions were carried out in 9 cities of the country. According to security officials, some 850 people participated in the protests; most of the protests took place in Minsk.
