In Brest, today, September 20, a protest action is also taking place against the current authorities. The arrests began in the city.

The Belarusian edition TUT.by reports on this.

According to the newspaper, the Brest security forces used tear gas against the protesters. Riot police approached the column of protesters at the intersection of Sovetskaya and Gogol streets and discharged gasoline from a can.

“People stood on a coupler and shouted that they had sprayed a can. Then I felt it hit me too,” the protester said.

Subsequently, the security forces detained about 10 people, put them on minibuses and took them in an unknown direction.

Let us remind you that for 43 days in a row Belarusians have been going to protest actions in Minsk and other cities in the country over the falsification of the presidential elections, the arrests of opponents and the murder of protesters.

In several districts of Minsk, security forces began to detain protesters.

In addition, in the context of the protests in the capital of Belarus, the work of the mobile Internet was limited.
