Human rights activists reported that 16 people detained in the 100,000th People’s Ultimatum march had already been released.
In the cities of Belarus, including the capital, there were protests called the Ultimatum of the People. Security agents detained 290 protesters, 16 of whom have already been released. This was announced on Sunday, October 25, by the Viasna human rights center and published the corresponding list.
The vast majority of those arrested are from Minsk, but the list also includes residents of other cities in the republic: Grodno, Brest, Gomel, Pinsk, Vitebsk, etc.
As reported in the Tut. By, one of the most serious seizures of protesters took place in an apartment on Novovilenskaya Street in Minsk.
The protesters ran towards the entrance of a residential building after security forces began to explode grenades with flash noise in the street. They were allowed to enter one of the apartments, but riot police rushed after them and took most of the men away, brutally beating them.
Let us remind you that more than 100,000 people participated in a massive protest action in the capital of Belarus. The security forces used flash bangs against them.
