In the Belarusian capital Minsk, security forces began to disperse students who participated in protest actions. Detained students are put into minibuses.

It is noted that the arrests began in the area of ​​the Plaza de la Independencia. A group of OMON officers approached the students and offered to peacefully disperse. The students locked themselves in a chain and refused to leave. After that, the security forces began to remove people from the chain and take them away.

“Most of the boys moved to Moscow State Linguistic University (Minsk State Linguistic University – ed.), But the security forces were catching up. Near the main entrance of Gorky Park there are two minibuses to those who take the detainees, “reports the newspaper.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, on September 1, students from Minsk universities came out to protest.

Earlier it was reported that Belarusian students are planning to join the national strike, they want to collect signatures on a petition for the resignation of Alexander Lukashenko and the holding of new elections.

Before that, Lukashenka threatened to cancel the army postponements for students who will take part in protest actions.
