In Minsk, security forces began detaining participants in a protest march. Among those arrested is the well-known activist Nina Baginskaya.

This was reported by the Belarusian Telegram channel “Country for Life”.

The arrests began at the Iceberg Mall. In addition to Baginskaya, the security forces detained several more women who participated in the protest action. The security forces had to transfer some of the protesters to the van.

Now the protesters were surrounded by security forces who blocked their movement near the mall. Some protesters manage to be recaptured from security forces

We remind you that another march is being held in Minsk today in support of the opposition and against the current government. The protesters are demanding new presidential elections, as well as the punishment of all those involved in the killings and torture of participants in previous protests.

Opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya supported today’s march and called on Belarusians to come out to protest weekly.

It should be noted that during the protests last Sunday in Belarus, according to official data from law enforcement officials, more than 700 people were arrested.
