“We are talking both about Ukraine’s traditional foreign economic partners – the EU, China, the US, India – and the less developed exporter markets of Ukraine – Mexico, Australia, Brazil, Angola, etc.” – said the head of the State Food and Consumer Service Vladislava Magaletskaya.

In addition, during 2020 work has been done to conclude international agreements in the areas of sanitary, phytosanitary and consumer protection measures with Brazil, Algeria, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iran, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Lebanon, Greece, Germany, Sweden and Georgia. .

In addition, an Agreement has been prepared between the State Consumer Service and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources of the Republic of North Macedonia on cooperation in the field of quarantine and plant protection.

It is noted that today the State Food Service continues to work with international partners to expand sales in various staples, including poultry products, live cattle and small livestock, beef and pork, milk and dairy products, honey, apples, blueberries. and cherries. peas and beans, onions, wheat flour, fish and fish products, reproductive material.

By the way, Ukraine became one of the top three chicken suppliers to the EU in 2020. Brazil became the biggest chicken exporter to the European Union in 2020, followed by Thailand.
