In the Czech Republic, first of all, doctors working with people infected with COVID-19 will receive a vaccine against a dangerous infection. Together with them, the head of the Czech government was inoculated at the Central Military Hospital in Prague. Also on this day, Emily Repikova, a 95-year-old Czech World War II veteran, was vaccinated.

Hungary was the first of all EU countries to massively vaccinate its citizens against the coronavirus on December 26. First, it is planned to vaccinate doctors fighting COVID-19 and treating patients in Budapest. The first batch of Pfizer medicine received is enough for 4,875 people.

According to OBOZREVATEL, mass vaccination against the coronavirus with a drug produced by Pfizer and BioNTech began in European countries as of Sunday, December 27. It is the only vaccine approved for use by the EU regulatory authorities.

Vaccinations are voluntary and free. On the indicated date, it was carried out among people from risk groups in France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and others. Simultaneously with the start of the vaccination campaign in Europe, they warned of the danger of fraud: advertisements of the alleged sale of the vaccine have already appeared on the network.
