The hosts’ starting lineup, who played a 4-4-2 scheme with Khlebas and Degtyarev leading the way, came out more unexpected in this match. Philip Budkovskiy in the game with “Mariupol” remained on the bench. On the other hand, the rare guests on the base had their chance: Pavel Polegenko, Maxim Imerekov and Alexey Gutsulyak.
Ostap Markevich decided to change goalkeepers, giving a chance to Yevgeny Galchuk, who has started to hit less at the start each time. Another problem was the absence even in the application of Igor Kiryukhantsev, Vyacheslav Tankovsky and Alexei Bykov. So the “Mariupol” coach had no one to reinforce the existing lineup from the bench.
“Desna” passed the first few minutes sharper due to the fact that Mikhail Mudrik immediately began to use the fact that his opponent on the flank was playing in a non-native position. Even as a member of the “Minaya” in the First League, Petr Stasyuk had experience as a right-back and even scored victorious goals from this area, but in terms of defense, of course, it took time to adapt to a quick opponent on the flank. However, Mudrik himself buried the two moments he managed to create with his awkward broadcasts in the final phase.
The guests’ return attacks were based on the activity of the wings, and Sergey Gorbunov, who played on the left, was especially liked in this regard. Already in the first half hour, he was remembered for two high-quality lumbago and a solo pass, which was stopped only by the fourth defender of “Desna” on his way. After another episode, Gorbunov’s lumbago ended with Ocheretko’s discount on Stasyuk and Peter pushed hard and certainly into the near corner. Unfortunately, the bar intervened in the episode, which took the ball.
Also, before the break, one can recall the inaccurate punches of Khlebas and Mudrik, especially the failed ending of Mikhail, who again created a moment for himself and ruined it himself. There was too much confusion in the game of the talented midfielder “Desna”, although the desire to prove his worth was off the charts.
During the break, Alexander Ryabokon decided not to give more advances to “instagram man” Mudrik and instead released Yegor Kartushov. Also in the field appeared Philip Budkovsky, who after five minutes registered an assist to his asset. In addition, he was able to do it twice in the course of an attack: it was Budkovsky who threw Khlebas into the gap, who was unable to make a one-on-one exit with the goalkeeper. However, the “Desna” players regained the rebound and Philip outplayed the rival and shot at the far post, where Kartushov was left alone.
Well, a few minutes later Khlebas may have scored again, Dmitry received a pass from Budkovsky and again did not notice his appointment with the goalkeeper. However, already in the next attack, he received the congratulations of his teammates: the scoring attack was dispersed by the right flank Alexey Gutsulyak, who gave a pass to Khlebas. On this occasion, the forward did not fail, although the moment seemed perhaps the most difficult of the three at his disposal.
Subsequent attempts by “Mariupol” to change something were not accentuated, except that I remember the blow from Ocheretko, blocked by the defenders. The defeat leaves Markevich’s team in ninth place on the table. “Desna” is set on the third row with a three-point handicap from the closest pursuers “Vorskla” and potentially Lugansk “Zarya”. But the Skrypnik team, to at least catch up with Poltava, still need to beat Alexandria today.
