President “Igor Surkis said that the information about the intention to agree with “Ingulets” on the postponement of the match is false.
The situation in the team now is really difficult: there are many players injured and infected by coronavirus. The coaching staff had a limited selection of players, but we decided not to ask for the game to be postponed, but to play with those who are healthy and can enter the field.
I am sure that the president of “Ingulets” Alexander Povoroznyuk would not have refused to postpone the match if we had asked him about it. In Ukraine, everyone supports our clubs in European competitions, they understand where they are and how important it is to earn rating points for our common piggy bank.
But again, we do not consider the option of postponing the game and following the sporting principles. The Dynamo will play Ingulets away from home and then start preparations for the game against Barcelona.
The “Ingulets” – “Dynamo” match will take place on Saturday, November 21. The meeting begins at 2:00 p.m.
