The fifth president of Ukraine, the leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, on the anniversary of the Normandy meeting in Paris, proposed concrete steps to ensure peace in Donbass.
He expressed them in his video message posted on Facebook. Poroshenko emphasized that the authorities should, by restoring reforms, respecting the rule of law, success on the anti-corruption front and economic growth, strengthen Ukraine’s resistance to repel the Russian aggressor. The fifth president also noted that for a meeting with Putin, Zelenskiy agreed to concessions that “nullify” the “security first” principle. “And now Ukrainian diplomats have to make a lot of effort to get back to him,” Poroshenko said.
