Near Kiev, a group of criminals kidnapped a businessman and kept him in an unfinished house for a week, demanding a ransom of $ 2 million.

It is noted that the 48-year-old businessman was kidnapped on August 21 under the pretext of seeing a property on the outskirts of Kiev. They found him in the center of the capital, lured him into a car and drove away.
The man was transferred to a minibus and taken to an unfinished house in the Kiev region. He tried to escape by jumping from the second floor, but broke both legs in the fall. Later, the victim was transferred to another house in the region.

After his release by law enforcement officers, the businessman was hospitalized.
According to the Kiev prosecutor Oleg Kiper, the detainees are Kiev residents between 35 and 52 years old, who have not been previously convicted.

The detainees were informed of the suspicion in part 2 of article 146 and part 2 of article 189 of the Penal Code. The organizers of the crime were chosen as a preventive measure in the form of arrest, two more were sent under house arrest. As for the rest, the judicial hearings continue.
