After eating at Leoni LLC’s dining room, 194 people were poisoned. They were diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection.
In Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, 194 people were poisoned, 59 of them were hospitalized after eating in the dining room of Leoni LLC. This was reported in the Center for Public Health on Facebook on September 28.
An epidemiological investigation has identified joint foods for all the victims. They all ate Druzhba salad (includes processed cheese, carrots, croutons, garlic, and mayonnaise), chicken noodle broth, buckwheat, sausage in sauce, bread, and tea.
Doctors diagnosed the poisoned man with an acute intestinal infection.
“Specialists from the State Food and Consumer Service carry out unscheduled inspections of suppliers and manufacturers of food products involved in the kitchen in the company,” the center added.
Specialists from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Laboratory Center took samples of food products, water samples and washings of environmental objects for laboratory research. They also conducted a bacteriological examination of the patients, the persons in contact with them and the kitchen workers.
The epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
As of September 26, number of victims they were 101 people.
LLC Leoni is a representative office of a foreign company of the same name. In Ukraine, the company produces electronic products for the automotive industry.
