On the morning of Saturday 12 September, in the Sumy region, in a field near the village of Dyakivka, Burinsky district, a crashed light-engine aircraft was found. Its pilot died, according to the State Emergency Service.

Rescuers received information about the incident at 08:10 am. On the spot, they discovered that a light-engined aircraft, previously identified as Kh-32 Bekas, had fallen. The pilot of the aircraft died. No other victims were found.

“A mobile task force is working at the scene of the accident. 14 staff members and four teams are involved. Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the emergency,” the statement said.

The day before in the Zhytomyr region, a hang glider that was processing sunflower fields crashed. As a result, the pilot of this aircraft died.

Earlier, in the Kiev region, a light-engine aircraft from the Aviation Group training school fell and caught fire. There were two people on board. They survived.
