In Ukraine, in 2021, four more stages of pension increases will take place. Payments will be recalculated in April, July, October, and December.
The increase is included in the approved budget of the Pension Fund for 2021. The increase will affect the majority of Ukrainian pensioners.
Happy april 1
They will recalculate pensions for those who continued to work after retirement (there are 24 months of additional work experience). It will increase the size of the payment itself and the increase for the duration of the service.

if they have met the seniority requirements (30 years for women and 35 years for men), the pension is increased by 2% of the subsistence minimum (seniority allowance, 35.3 UAH);

the size of the “net” pension itself is increased by 2%. For example, if your estimated pension is 6,000 UAH, after 24 months of additional work experience, the increase will be 120 UAH.
From July 1
The minimum pension will increase from 1,769 UAH to 1,854 UAH, and the maximum pension – from 17,690 UAH to 18,540 UAH. This is due to the new calculation of the subsistence minimum. In addition, from 17.6 to 18.5 hryvnia, the increase in “overtime” will increase (from 30 years for women and 35 years for men).
Since the 1st of october
For retirees aged 75 and over, the payments will be increased by 400 UAH. This will be a monthly increase. Now Ukrainians who turned 80 last year or earlier receive additional payments. They can count on help in the amount of around 500 UAH. The Cabinet of Ministers announced a gradual increase in the number of Ukrainians who can request such additional payment. In 2021, for people over 75 years old.
From December 1
There will be another increase – up to 1934 and 19,340 UAH, respectively. In addition, from 18.5 to 19.3 hryvnia, the increase in “overtime” will increase (from 30 years for women and 35 years for men).
