According to the results of the vote, 140 journalists from the world’s leading media outlets were included in the dream team:
goalkeeper – Lev Yashin (USSR);
defenders – Paolo Maldini (Italy), Franz Beckenbauer (Germany), Kafu (Brazil);
defensive midfielders – Lothar Matthews (Germany), Xavi (Spain);
offensive midfielders – Diego Maradona (Argentina), Pele (Brazil);
attackers – Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), Lionel Messi (Argentina), Ronaldo (Brazil).
The second all-time lineup was made up of: Gianluigi Buffon – Roberto Carlos, Franco Baresi, Carlos Alberto – Alfredo Di Stefano, Frank Ryckard, Andrea Pirlo, Zinedine Zidane – Ronaldinho, Johan Cruyff, Garrincha.
The third team includes: Manuel Neuer – Paul Breitner, Sergio Ramos, Philip Lam – Andres Iniesta, Didi, Johan Neskens, Michel Platini – Thierry Henry, Marco van Basten, George Best.
The awards will be presented at The Best FIFA Football Award on December 17, 2020.
