The “roadmap” for the implementation of the Minsk agreements can be based on a Franco-German project with modifications from the Ukrainian and Russian parties, and must be approved at the level of the leaders of the four Normandy countries (Ukraine, Germany , France, Russia).
This was stated by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency, specifying what he called “Key groups for the implementation of the Minsk agreements.”
“In our opinion, the leaders of the ‘Normandy format’ should be involved in the final coordination of the ‘roadmap’. This position is supported by our colleagues from France and Germany,” Yermak said.
The head of the PO also added that Ukraine is not opposed to the Trilateral Contact Group participating in the development of the road map.
At the same time, Yermak added that the Russian side has a revised draft, as evidenced by publications in the media.
“The positive moment is that the published material (in the media – ed.) Confirms my previous statement, which for some reason was questioned by the representatives of Russia. Based on the Franco-German project and finalized by the Ukrainian side, it is at the table of the Russian delegation, “he explained.
According to the head of the OP, the fact that the Russian side has this plan makes it possible for Moscow to help end the war in Donbass.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously said that it would soon be possible to talk about the exact dates of the meeting of the leaders of the Normandy Four.
