Individual entrepreneurs in Ukraine will be able to receive payments of 8 thousand hryvnia. The corresponding law came into force today, December 10.

Reported by RBC-Ukraine.

Yesterday the law was promulgated in the Voice of Ukraine. It entered into force the day after its publication.

The law provides in 2020-2021, at the expense of the state budget, one-time financial assistance payments to insured persons who have lost part of their salary or income due to the imposed quarantine.

Businesses will also receive one-time payments to preserve employee jobs. There is also a one-time compensation for the expenses incurred for the payment of a one-time contribution for the mandatory state social insurance.

Temporarily, during the quarantine period and within six months after its completion, small and medium-sized companies in the catering sector may receive state support.

For a business whose work was suspended due to quarantine, for the period of its quarantine and within one month from the date of its termination, the municipal and state-owned leases were extended, which expire during the quarantine period or measures restrictive.

The law abolishes the collection of fees under municipal and state property leases during the quarantine period or restrictive measures for companies whose activities were prohibited during the specified period.

Additionally, for the duration of the quarantine and after the end of the quarantine, alcohol retail licenses will not be suspended or canceled in the event of late payment by licensees for the next license payment.

A person’s insurance experience will include the period during which they received partial unemployment benefits, during the quarantine period due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Conditions for receiving payments

Employees will provide 8 thousand hryvnias of assistance, provided that:

  • for the third quarter of 2020, the employer accumulated ERU;
