Individual entrepreneurs in Ukraine will receive payments of 8 thousand hryvnia. The Verkhovna Rada approved as a basis and as a whole the bill №4429.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the broadcast of the BP meeting.
The law was supported by 297 parliamentarians.
The document proposes to guarantee, in 2020-2021, at the expense of the state budget, the payment of one-time material assistance to insured persons who may lose part of their wages or income in the event of the introduction of additional restrictive anti-epidemic measures.
It provides for the payment of a one-time financial aid to companies to preserve the jobs of employees, as well as a one-time compensation for the expenses incurred for the payment of a one-time contribution to the mandatory state social insurance.
Temporarily, during the quarantine period and within six months after its end, small and medium-sized companies in the catering sector may receive state support.
For a business whose work was suspended for quarantine, for the period of quarantine and within one month from the date of its termination, the state and communal property leases continue, which expire during the period of quarantine or restrictive measures .
The law repeals the collection of rents under state and municipal property leases during the quarantine period or restrictive measures for businesses whose activities were prohibited during the specified period.
In addition, for the duration of the quarantine and upon completion, licenses for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages will not be suspended or canceled in the event of late payment by licensees for the next license payment.
Individuals will include the period during which they received partial unemployment benefits during the quarantine period due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Who will not receive payments
The payment in the amount of 8 thousand hryvnias will not be received by contracted workers for whom URE has not been earned for the third quarter of 2020, as well as those who work part-time or receive a salary greater than thirty thousand hryvnias per month.
For individual entrepreneurs who are insured, no assistance is provided if the period of their state registration and ERU payment is less than three months, as well as if their activities are suspended on the effective date of this law.
In addition, the payment of a single compensation to a company for the expenses incurred for the payment of a single mandatory state social security contribution is not foreseen if the business entity has arrears in the payment of the ERUs on the date of entry into force of this law.
Let us remind you that the head of the Servants of the People faction, David Arakhamia, pointed out that the law to support small and medium-sized enterprises should take effect on December 9.
