More than 10 million people voted in local elections
In general, voters in the west and north of Ukraine were more active than in the east and south.
According to the results of the data processing, which came from more than 97% of the territorial electoral commissions (TEC), participation in local elections was 36.99%. This was announced on Sunday, October 25, by the press service of the Central Electoral Commission.
It is noted that the information on the number of voters who received ballots has been transferred to the CEC at this time by 1451 TEC of 1488. According to the data, 10,031,792 voters voted in local elections.
Thus, the highest participation was registered in the Ternopil region (44.81%) and the lowest in Donetsk (31.67%). In general, voters in the west and north of Ukraine were more active than in the east and south.
We will recall, after the completion of the voting in the local elections, the first data from the exit polls were published in Kiev, as well as in Odessa and Kharkov.
