The Verkhovna Rada supported the law by which children who do not live with him are excluded from the declarant’s relatives, it was learned from the online transmission of the parliamentary meeting.

The “for” support of the bill voted for 244 deputies of the people.

As you know, this law will allow not to declare the property of officials if it is registered for minor children who do not live with them.

Although officials must declare not only their income, real estate, cars and jewelry, but also all those issued to family members.

Last year, amendments to the Corruption Prevention Law went into effect, expanding the circle of loved ones and relatives of the subjects of the declaration. Now the term “close people” in the law applies to a nephew and niece, as well as the father and mother of the son’s wife (husband).

In addition, the family members of the subject of the declaration are their minor children, regardless of coexistence, common life and the presence of mutual rights and obligations.

Furthermore, public servants are prohibited from having directly subordinate loved ones.
