Starting tomorrow and for three weeks, additional quarantine restrictions will be in force in Poland, suspending the operation of the ski slope infrastructure and hotel services.

This is stated in the message of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Krakow on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Please note that from December 28, 2020, additional quarantine restrictions will be introduced on the territory of the Republic of Poland, which will be valid until January 17, 2021,” the message reads.
In particular, in the country:
- hotel service has been suspended (the restriction does not apply to care for government employees, doctors, specialized hospital patients, COS representatives (athletes), except hotels for staff);
- the operation of the ski slopes infrastructure has been suspended;
- access to sports infrastructure is allowed only for people involved in professional sports;
- a 10-day quarantine was established for people entering Poland by organized transport;
- the work of shopping centers has been suspended (the restriction does not apply to grocery stores, kiosks, pharmacies and hygiene and household chemical stores, hairdressing and beauty salons, large furniture stores operating in separate premises);
- A prohibition has been established on the free movement of people on New Year’s Eve: from 7:00 p.m. on December 31 to 6:00 a.m. on January 1 (the restriction does not apply to people who will perform official functions).
In addition, the country extended restrictions on public events, the number of unrelated participants in which exceeds 5 people; operation of gyms, fitness clubs, water parks; simultaneous stay in shops and religious buildings of people in an amount greater than 1 per 15 m2. meter; the operation of public catering companies (order execution only with delivery).
The prohibition of independent movement of people under 16 years of age (Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and the prohibition of traveling by public transport were also extended above 50% of seats, or 30% all seats.
The fixed hours have also been extended to serve the elderly, from 10:00 to 12:00.
At the same time, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland published data on the regime of entry of Ukrainian citizens to Poland.
In particular, citizens of Ukraine who are spouses or children of citizens of the Republic of Poland, or who are under the constant guardianship of citizens of the Republic of Poland, have the right to enter; have a Pole’s Card; have the right to permanent or temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Poland; Students and other categories of citizens have the right to work on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
