22 regions and Kiev are not ready to weaken the quarantine
The epidemic situation regarding the coronavirus does not allow to ease quarantine restrictions in 22 regions and in Kiev.
The COVID-19 epidemic does not allow the quarantine to weaken in 22 regions of Ukraine and in Kiev. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health on Monday, September 21.
The Health Ministry says they are not ready to weaken the quarantine: Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Zaporizhzhya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Lugansk, Lvov, Nikolaev, Odessa, Rivne, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopilnitsky Cherkasy, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv, as well as Kiev.
At the same time, the highest incidence rate is found in the Ternopil region (390.9 people per 100,000 of the population) and in the Chernivtsi region (210.4 people per 100,000 of the population).
At the same time, only two regions are ready to weaken the restrictions: Kirovograd and Kherson.
Recall that Ukraine has a new zoning for COVID. According to the new criteria for epidemic risk in the “red” zone, there is no single regional center.
It was also reported that the criteria for the yellow and orange zones were changed in Ukraine. When establishing quarantine zones, the occupancy of beds, the number of tests per 100,000 inhabitants and the incidence rate will be evaluated.
