On Sunday, January 17, in Oberhof, Germany, the men’s mass start will take place as part of the sixth stage of the World Cup.

Only one Ukrainian participated in the race – the captain of the national team Dmitry Pidruchny. He had two penalties and finished 20th, losing just over a minute to the winner of the race. The rest of Yurai’s protections, Orderly, did not meet the qualification conditions.

The victory was won by the Norwegian Tarjei Bo. The only mistake he made was at the last firing range, but thanks to the good speed on the track at the last corner, he overtook the Austrian Felix Leitner and the Swiss Benjamin Weger, to whom all the targets were subjected.

Notably, Leitner for the first time in his career took the podium at the World Cup, and Weger had not previously won a medal in the mass start.

Race results:

1. Tarja Bö (0 + 0 + 0 + 1) 37: 41.9
2. Felix Leitner (0 + 0 + 0 + 0) +3.6
3. Benjamin Weger (0 + 0 + 0 + 0) +7.8

twenty. Dmitry Pidruchny (1 + 0 + 1 + 0) +1: 07.9
