OASK decided to remove Sytnik from the position of head of NABU

The court made this decision at the request of the head of the NABU detective unit, Alexander Kareev, previously dismissed.

The Kiev District Administrative Court decided to remove from the state register the information about Artem Sytnyk as director of the National Anti-Corruption Office. About this on Monday, October 26, Ukrainska Pravda writes, citing an informed source.

As the newspaper notes, the court decided to reinstate the former head of NABU’s second detective unit Alexander Kareev, having recognized his dismissal as illegal.

As part of the lawsuit, Kareev received a separate ruling on the removal of the reasons and conditions leading to the violation of the law.

In this ruling, the court ordered the Ministry of Justice to delete information about Sytnik as head of NABU from the Unified Registry. The basis is allegedly the decision of the Constitutional Court, which declared the decree of President Petro Poroshenko on the appointment of Sytnyk in 2015 illegal.

In addition, the RRB must send an order to initiate a criminal case for non-compliance with the decision of the Constitutional Court.

At the same time, according to the UP, the decision has not yet been seen in the Anti-Corruption Bureau.

We will recall, in July, NABU released audio recordings of conversations allegedly judges of the Kiev District Administrative Court, which appear in the case of judicial interference in the work of other authorities.

In addition, the KSU recognized unconstitutional the decree of former President Petro Poroshenko on the appointment of Artem Sytnik as director of NABU.
