Today the GeForce RTX 3080 is only available with 10 gigabytes of GDDR6X, but that doesn’t mean it will always be this way.
The official presentation of the GeForce RTX 3080 20GB should take place in a month and a half, shortly before or shortly after the announcement of the AMD Radeon RX 6000 video cards. The flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT is reportedly operating on 16 gigabytes. GDDR6.
The “green” response to the launch of AMD Navi 2X will be a 20 GB modification of the GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti with 16 GB of memory, aimed at those gamers who want more video RAM, but do not want to spend more $ 1500 on the GeForce RTX 3090.
