NSDC plans to distribute weapons to Ukrainians for storage at home

The NSDC presented a draft law on territorial defense, under which the Ukrainians want to massively distribute small arms for domestic storage.

This was stated at a press conference by the undersecretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Sergei Krivonos.

According to him, the bill №4504 has already been discussed by the profile committee of the Rada and representatives of the forces of order. It is based on the need for an effective response to external threats.

According to him, a resident of any corner of Ukraine can become a member of the territorial defense to defend his land from the enemy. To do this, he will receive training on weekends and on weekdays he will deal with civil matters.

To store the house, members of the terrorist defense are invited to issue 80 thousand units of small arms. At the same time, Sergei Krivonos does not see this as a threat, since the population already has more than a million weapons.

The bill is supposed to be presented to the Rada in February-March.

Let us remember, recently Krivonos proposed to enshrine in law the possibility that conscripts do military service not in the army, but in territorial defense battalions, without leaving their place of residence.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the Rada National Security Committee supported the legalization of weapons in Ukraine.
