On Saturday, March 6, the women’s sprint took place at the Czech Nove Mesto as part of the eighth stage of the World Cup.

30-year-old Ukrainian Julia Dzhima hit all 10 targets and came in second. For her, this is the best sprint performance of her career.

Only the Norwegian reactive Tiril Eckhoff got ahead of Jim, who was not prevented from winning even by a failure on the first shot. Italian Lisa Vittozzi closed the top three.

All five Ukrainian women who participated in the race entered the scoring zone. Blashko and Merkushina ran a penalty loop and took 16th and 22nd places, respectively, while Elena Pidgrushnaya and Valya Semerenko made mistakes a little more often on the firing line and established themselves in the top ten of the final protocol.
