German MEP, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Viola von Cramon, repeatedly threatened Ukraine with the loss of visa-free travel in response to statements by David Arakhamia that it was only hearsay.
«That is exactly what I said yesterday, Mr. Arahamia. Listen to this message from the European Union, because the consequences for your country will not be good ”, wrote the deputy.

«I will only answer letters, ”he said, commenting on the information about the threat of Ukraine losing visa-free travel due to problems with the competition committee for the selection of the head of SAP.
As a reminder, on September 17, the Verkhovna Rada approved the composition of the competition committee to elect a new head of the SAP, despite the recommendations of the European Union. The commission should include 11 people, seven of whom will be appointed by parliament and four more by the council of prosecutors.
German MEP Viola von Cramon said the visa-free regime with the EU is under threat due to the situation surrounding the appointment of the head of SAP.
In response, President Volodymyr Zelensky said he supports the Western partners’ position on the independence of anti-corruption bodies, and Petro Poroshenko’s party is spreading rumors about the abolition of visa-free travel with the EU.
