No emotion, no head. Dynamo

So far, Oleksandr Sirota has been the only center-back to appear in the Dynamo’s starting lineup with Mircea Lucescu in an official match. And this is not related to any special structure of the Kievites’ game, but to personnel difficulties. Burda was injured again, Popov has yet to recover, and Shabanov, apparently, is not in favor of the Romanian coach, therefore attract the attention of the coach at least by changing the hairstyle.

Today, from the first minutes, the “Dynamo” has not had a single center-back at all. Nominally to the left Mikolenko and nominally to the right Kendziora closed the area, and along the edges, together with them, a quartet formed by Karavaev (left) and Tymchik (right).

The guests are also not well with the defense. Imerekov missed the match due to injury, so Oleksandr Ryabokon withdrew from playing three central defenders, and to some extent repeated the Kiev team’s scheme. The key difference is that the forward duo Filippov-Budkovsky was cut off from the rest of the team.

Reconnaissance in the first few minutes was carried out at a leisurely pace. At the time, it seemed like the teams needed time to disperse. I also remember two good “Desnyants” attacks, when Budkovsky came to the fore. Philip twice from the area of the goalkeeper’s line hit imprecisely, at least once the projectile even reached the bar.

It was noted that teams prefer not to advance through the center, but instead seek continuation from the flanks. So were the sharp attacks of the guests, they turned out to be the most important attacks of “Dynamo”. But it cannot be said that these foods focused on the aggravation. Rather, in the hope that someone wins the combat on horseback and decides the episode. By the way, the Kyivan left flank ran better at first. It is difficult to say what this is connected to. Maybe Tymchik, who was substituted during the first half, initially experienced hip discomfort. After replacing the hosts’ summer newcomer, Kenzora moved to the right flank, and rookie Zabarny took a spot in the center.

Dynamo tried to justify the time spent watching the first half at the end of 45 minutes. Approximately 40 seconds were enough for Lucescu’s team to hit the goal frame three times. On the post after a corner kick and hitting the head, Kenzor finished off, Mostovoy also cut the ball off the post, disrupting the canopy to his goal from the depths, and De Pena from afar kissed the crossbar.

Kiev started the second half more actively. First, in the 11-meter “Desnyanskaya” area, the penalty ball successfully bounced towards Supryaga – his shot was blocked by Gitchenko. Following Tsygankov from the right semi-flank failed to outmatch Pasta in hand-to-hand combat, and the offense in the second pace ended with a slightly inaccurate blow to the head from Buyalsky.

The last character was one of the most active of the Kiev team. It is no secret that Vitaly is good at looking for free zones, which he proved today. In addition to the blow in the aforementioned episode, the midfielder was at least three times in shock positions, but the accuracy disappointed.

Alexander Ryabokon showed his intention to defend a tie with substitutions at half time. Desna went to an ultra-defensive 5-4-1 and Mircea Lucescu offered a completely unexpected variation with Carlos de Peña at left back.

But the density around Chernihiv’s penalty area was so high that somehow getting to Pasta’s gate turned out to be an excruciating task for Dynamo. For the last quarter of the game, only Verbic’s departure to Pasta can be remembered: the guest goalkeeper left the tape on time and blocked the shot.

“Desna” throughout the game only made one shot on goal. It was inflicted by Dombrowski: Zabarny (for the defender, the opening was blurred by a series of errors, for example in the form of a gift to the guests in this episode and a completely optional yellow in the other) fumbled in his own area penalty, and the ‘norteños’ midfielder hit Bushchan from a medium distance.

Kiev wanted to win more, but it is clear that the most important thing for the team now is the Champions League. The third qualifying match of the Champions League with AZ is already next Tuesday. And there, either a flight to the Europa League, or the dream of the group stage of the most prestigious European football tournament will live on.
