At the Mayak plant, it was decided to name the new Infantry Cannon Night Predator rifle, abbreviated as PPNH.

Ukraine has developed the latest Night Predator infantry rifle based on the KPVT interchangeable barrel. This was reported by the press service of the Mayak plant.

A rifle for standard 14.5×114 ammunition was reportedly manufactured and tested, even in combat conditions.

It is noted that this development began to be implemented at the request of the Ukrainian soldiers who participated in the hostilities, it was decided to name it the Night Predator Infantry Cannon, abbreviated as PPNH.

The weight of the new rifle based on the KPVT barrel with a caliber of 14.5 mm is 32.96 kg, the weight without a silencer is 22.29 kg.

The length without silencer, with folded stock is 1.7 m and with silencer and stock extended – 2.47 m. The maximum observation range is 4 km.

It was previously reported that the cadets of the National Guard Academy had the opportunity to test the combat capabilities of the new Ukrainian-made UAR-10 sniper rifle.

It was also reported that the Ukrainian National Guard began rearming in accordance with NATO standards. The UAR-15 rifle will replace the Soviet Dragunov rifle.
