At first, the villagers refused to answer whether they supported Lozinsky in the elections, but later they confirmed it.
“This is confidential information. The results show they voted … This is … What happened before – I wasn’t there, what I was before. We’ll see what happens now,” said a Podvysoky resident.
Another resident of the village said this in a comment to the host. When the journalist asked her if she knew of the murder committed by Lozinsky, the woman answered affirmatively.
“So what? What’s wrong with that? And how many MPs are there in Kiev who kill people with cars to death. Who knows if he hunted ?! God, how are they going to hunt, there are all kinds of accidents, “said one resident.
Another man explained that Lozinsky had done “a lot of good.”
“You know how much good he did? So what! Others are killing too. Something here that killed a man. And how much good he did for people. And people followed him: he took an ambulance, he did a nursery, a hospital I did it , I did the school. He gives firewood to the elderly. What you need, “he explained.
Lozinsky case:
- On June 16, 2009, on the territory of the hunting grounds in the Kirovograd region, Lozinsky, the Golovanevsky district attorney, Yevgeny Gorbenko, and the head of the regional police department, Mikhail Kovalsky, killed a local resident , Valery Oliynyk.
- In April 2011, the Dneprovsky District Court in Kiev sentenced Lozinsky to 15 years in prison. Subsequently, the Superior Civil and Criminal Court reduced his sentence to 10 years in prison.
- In June 2014, the Boryspil city district of the Kiev region, at the request of the convict’s defenders, decided to release Lozinsky from the colony due to illness. In April 2016, the Court of Appeal of the Kiev region recognized this decision as legitimate and confirmed.
- Subsequently, Lozinsky left the penal colony in connection with parole by court order.
- On May 6, 2019, the Dneprovsky District Court in Kiev prematurely cleared Lozinsky’s criminal record. According to the court, after serving a prison sentence, Lozinsky, with his exemplary behavior and conscientious attitude, demonstrated his correctness.
