In the Transcarpathian region, the head of the Volovets OTG, Mikhail Popelych, was arrested with a bribe of 80 thousand hryvnias. This was announced by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Alexei Petrov, on Facebook on Tuesday, November 10.
“Law enforcement officers detained the chairman of the OTG Volovets Mikhail Popelych with a bribe of 80,000 hryvnia. Mikhail Popelych won the election as a candidate of the ‘servants of the people’, but membership in a party does not grant immunity to anyone, especially when it comes to bribes, kickbacks and theft, I will not defend you in court in such circumstances! “- said Petrov.
According to preliminary information, Mikhail Popelic was arrested with a bribe for bribes in road and sidewalk tenders.
