Americans took to the streets of New York to celebrate the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the presidential race. People were screaming, opening champagne, banging pots.
People on the streets of New York celebrate the election of Democratic candidate Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States. After the announcement of the winner, the sounds of car horns, screams, applause were heard in the streets, people even hit pots, writes NBC New York.
It is noted that thousands of people gathered in Times Square, Grand Army Plaza, Columbus Circle, Washington Square Park.
Americans danced and opened bottles of champagne to celebrate the long-awaited election results.
