One bombardment recorded in Donbass per day

Small arms separatists and a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kamenka.

Illegal armed formations in Donbass once violated the ceasefire in the last day. There are no combat casualties among Joint Forces personnel. This was announced on Tuesday, September 8, in the press center of the JFO headquarters.

Using small arms and a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher, the separatists fired only provocative shots towards the positions of Ukrainian soldiers near the village of Kamenka in the Donetsk region.

“Enemy fire provocations did not pose a threat to our defenders. Ukrainian units did not use weapons in response,” the JFO headquarters said.

Since the beginning of this day, on September 8, there have been no violations of the total and complete ceasefire by the enemy in the areas of responsibility of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to JFO headquarters, in the frontline areas, GSChS sappers have cleared nearly two hectares of land and turned over 41 explosive items for destruction.

Additionally, to minimize the impact of previous years’ artillery bombardments, Joint Forces rescuers are working to restore damaged homes and infrastructure. Currently, 42 sites are being worked on.

We will remember that a few days before the separatists violated the truce: not far from Prychepilovka, in the Lugansk region, a Ukrainian military man died and another was wounded in the Krasnohorivka area. This issue will be discussed at a meeting at the advisory level of the leaders of the Four Normandy countries.
