A new quarantine zoning takes effect

Two cities entered the red quarantine zone, where public transport, shopping and entertainment centers, and catering establishments are prohibited.

On Monday, October 5, a new quarantine zoning entered into force in Ukraine. There are two cities in the red zone. The corresponding decision was made by the State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies.

Then the city of Ternopil and the city of Kaniv, Cherkasy region, entered the red zone.

There, public transport, shopping centers, cafes and restaurants are prohibited.

The orange zone includes Vinnitsa, Lutsk, Dnieper, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lvov, Nikolaev, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi.

It is forbidden: the work of hostels, tourist centers, etc. (except hotels), entertainment venues, night restaurants, scheduled hospitalizations, gym work, gyms, except those that receive visitors at the rate of 1 person per 10 square meters, cultural institutions, new shifts in children’s camps. In addition, restrictions are introduced for massive events: 1 person for every 20 m2. m and no more than 100 people.

According to the new zoning rules, the rule on the prohibition of transport in public transport is canceled when 50% of the seats are occupied.

The yellow zone includes Kiev, Krivoy Rog, Zhitomir, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Kherson, Cherkasy and Chernigov.

Visiting the social welfare institutions where the elderly are, other than those that provide “crisis” services, is prohibited there.

All other areas and cities are included in the green zone. It is mandatory to wear a mask or respirator during your stay in the room; keep your distance during massive events (1 person for every 5 square meters); observance of distance during events in cultural institutions (50% seat occupancy) transportation of people by public transport within the number of seats. These restrictions apply in other areas as well.
