New quarantine zones began operating in Ukraine on November 9

New adaptive quarantine zones have entered into force in Ukraine. There are 13 regional centers in the “red” zone.

The corresponding decision was taken yesterday by the State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies.

“Red zone”

This zone includes: Zhytomyr, Uzhgorod, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankivsk, Nikolaev, Poltava, Exactly, Sumy, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Kramatorsk, Chernivtsi, Chernigov.

It is allowed to extend the operation of public transport, shopping and entertainment centers and shops in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Nikolaev, Kharkov and Khmelnitsky regions; schools, colleges and universities can work.

Catering establishments continue to operate in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Poltava, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv regions.

In the regions of Zhytomyr, Odessa, Lugansk, Poltava, Cherkassk, Chernigov, passengers can board by suburban, interurban, intraregional and interregional transport.

“Orange zone”

This zone includes all other regions.

The work of hostels, tourist centers, etc. is prohibited. (except hotels); entertainment venues, restaurants at night; planned hospital admissions; gyms, fitness centers, except those that receive visitors at the rate of one person per 10 square meters, cultural institutions; acceptance of new changes in children’s camps.

Massive acts with the participation of more than 20 people are prohibited, the work of the catering establishments is from 22:00 to 7:00.

Not a single region was included in the “yellow” and “green” areas. However, in other regional centers there are also restrictions for these areas.

In the “yellow zone” it is forbidden to visit the social assistance institutions where the elderly are, except those that provide “crisis” services; Carrying out massive events with the participation of more than 30 people, the work of the catering establishments from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

In the “green zone” there is an indoor mask mode; social distance in public transport. It is forbidden to carry out massive events with the participation of more than 50 people, hospitality work from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., sporting events with spectators.

Remember that in the Poltava, Rivne, Odessa and Sumy regions, hospital beds are filled more than 70%. In total, as of November 8, 60.5% of these beds are already occupied in the country.

In addition, 9397 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Ukraine on Sunday.
