Despite the increase in the incidence of the coronavirus, in most regions, public transport and kindergartens and outlets will not be closed. This was announced on Friday, October 16, by the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov.
According to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies has authorized the operation of public transport in the red zone.
The document addresses the exceptions for each individual region to the restrictions, which will take effect on October 19.
Therefore, in all regions except for the Donetsk region, the operation of shopping and entertainment centers and shops is allowed.
In the regions of Zhytomyr, Odessa, Lugansk, Poltava, Cherkassk, Chernigov, passengers can board the transport of suburban, interurban, intraregional and interregional communications.
In the Donetsk region, it is allowed to visit institutions and institutions that provide rehabilitation and social services to families with difficult life circumstances.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Kharkov and Khmelnitsky regions, the work of educational institutions is allowed.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Poltava, Kharkov, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi and Chernigov regions, catering establishments can operate.
Other entertainment establishments are allowed in the Kiev region.
In addition, banks, insurance agencies, medical and veterinary institutions, gas stations, car service stations, computer services, appliance repair, and post offices are allowed, as well as take-out and delivery catering services.
We recall, on October 13, the Cabinet changed the criteria for the red zone. Now it will be announced where there will be 320 patients for every 100,000 of the population within two weeks.
The quarantine itself in Ukraine was extended until December 31, 2020.
