Sunday’s protests are taking place in different districts of Minsk. This was reported by TUT.by on Sunday January 3.

In the morning, protest actions were held in the Belarusian capital in a courtyard format. People with white and red symbols of opposition walk in small columns in their districts with the slogans “Long live Belarus!”, “We will not forget, we will not forgive!”, “We are faithful, we can, the best!”

The protest action also took place near the journalism department of the Belarusian State University in Minsk. The protesters thus expressed their support for the detained journalists.

There is no information on the arrests at the moment.

In turn, the official representative of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Executive Committee of the city of Minsk, Natalya Ganusevich, said that the situation in the capital is calm, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
