During the past day, the coronavirus in Ukraine was found in 2,723 people, 51 deaths were recorded, 937 patients were recovered.

This is evidenced in the NSDC data as of Friday morning September 4.

In Ukraine, another anti-registration was recorded in the number of new COVID-19 infection cases per day. The previous record value was set on September 2, then 2,495 people fell ill.

In total, during the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 130,951 people fell ill, of which 60,613 recovered, deaths – 2,761.

At the moment, cases of coronavirus disease have been detected:

  • Vinnytsia region – 4269 cases;
  • Volyn region – 5723 cases;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 2750 cases;
  • Donetsk region: 1576 cases;
  • Zhytomyr region – 3550 cases;
  • Transcarpathic region: 7888 cases;
  • Zaporizhzhya region – 1768 cases;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region: 9845 cases;
  • Kirovograd region: 841 cases;
  • Kiev – 14,477 cases;
  • Kiev region – 6017 cases;
  • Lviv region: 15,312 cases;
  • Lugansk region: 393 cases;
  • Nikolaev region – 1446 cases;
  • Odessa region: 8038 cases;
  • Poltava region – 886 cases;
  • Rivne region: 9535 cases;
  • Sumy region – 1680 cases;
  • Ternopil region: 6841 cases;
  • Kharkov region: 10,312 cases;
  • Kherson region: 444 cases;
  • Khmelnytsky region – 2848 cases;
  • Chernivtsi region: 10786 cases;
  • Cherkasy region – 1756 cases;
  • Chernihiv region – 2,150 cases.

Data for the temporarily occupied territories of the regions of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk and the city of Sevastopol are not available.

The government extended the quarantine until October 31, with a softening starting on May 22. The approach to alleviate or strengthen quarantine remained adaptive, but the principle of region allocation was changed to strengthen quarantine measures.

The country was divided into four zones according to the level of danger of the spread of the coronavirus. Each of them has a certain number of restrictions.

The new quarantine rules went into effect on August 3. The decision to divide the country into zones will be reviewed every 7 days.
